Ramdev’s Patanjali stores to allow digital payments for purchases starting from Rs 50
Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali is becoming a huge brand now a days and he is now challenging few bigger brands.
Baba Ramdev reached out to five banks asking those to connect up all the stores by this Christmas. Just to make sure things can get simpler by allowing users to make them pay for products via e-wallets.
After the meeting where the old series of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes would come to an end. To be legal tender as per this November 8 in a smack against black money. And this is to formulate this nation a cashless economy in order to remove corruption.
Patanjali, which is having so many stores in this nation, that’ll set a criteria to purchase above Rs 50 digitally. Demonetisation has led to huge deficiency of currency notes and also forcing citizens to wait in long queues at banks.
Well as per the company only less than the amount of 50 that has to be paid via cash, otherwise the direction has already been issued that if a poor person doesn’t have the amount than that should be given products on credit as well. This move is really appreciable by all the stores.
Few bank met Patanjali, those are State Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank and HDFC Bank.
As per Balkrishna, “From digital banking to expenditure via e-wallets and cards, we really want every digital facilities to be there at Patanjali stores”.
Patanjali had sought after digital connectivity but didn’t want to be named as of now.
As per the reports, Patanjali stores are going for PoS machines so that purchases can complete using such cards.
